The Stock Market Sucks, The Economy Stinks, Online Poker Thrives
The Stock Market Sucks, The Economy Stinks, Online Poker Thrives
Its amazing that at a time of unbelievable global economic decline and massed layoffs there is still one place where people have a shot at making a living. Yes it sounds nuts, but people are actually turning to online poker and poker in general during these tumultous times. With the softest job market the world has seen in more than a decade, online poker has provided an outlet for some people to prosper, survive, or make a new career in life. Many people have been betrayed by traditional investing and have been investing in themselves as poker is not a game of luck, but considered a game of skill. Online poker is in somewhat of a trough period, but as the layoffs grow, I think online poker will see a bump in usage out of not only necessity, but the simple fact is that more people will be home more often looking for the cheapest forms of entertainment. If you have been laid off and are playing poker to pay the bills we’d love to hear your success story.
