So the 5th annual PokerStars Caribbean Adventure is coming up and you know how PokerStars likes to put on events. Well this year they claim its going to be bigger than ever and they aren’t using the cliche lightly. They really really really mean it this time.
The main idea is that its happening January 2009 and what better way to stimulate the economy of the Bahamas is to hop a plane and get over there to play in this tournament. However, the cheaper route might be to win your way in. Imagine that, getting flight, food, hotel, and tan all free worth about $14,300. How you ask? Its obvious mate. You need to win your way in via satellite and they start @ $7.5 entry or use 500 FPP credits.
For the first time in Caribbean Adventure history, there will be no pirates dancing on the tables. No really, the tournament will become a “Festival of Poker” with a string of side events, the Battleship of Online Poker, a high roller event, and the World Cup of Poker Final all still held in place where I keep a second home – the Bahamas.
If you haven’t qualified yet check out the satellites – there are an additional 40 last minute PCA packages available. 10 PCA packages will be guaranteed for the Saturday December 27, $650 MTT at 16:30 ET; and a further 30 PCA packages will be guaranteed for Sunday December 28, $650 MTT at 18:00 ET.
